From October 22-28, a working meeting and environmental awareness activities took place in Dalyan, Turkey, as part of the “Let us think green” project. Throughout the week, we accomplished a lot: not only did we discuss the next steps of the project, but we also contributed to nature conservation initiatives. In Dalyan, we planted trees, visited a turtle rescue center near Iztuzu Beach, cleaned the environment, and, together with local representatives and youth, explored ways to ensure a responsible and sustainable approach to nature. We shared knowledge about best practices in different countries and left inspired to make positive changes in our communities!
The “Let us think” project aims to increase awareness of supporting a clean, green, and sustainable environment, including maintaining clean water sources, a clear atmosphere, and preserving the blue sea. Six non-governmental organizations from five countries (Lithuania, Turkey, Italy, Greece, and Bulgaria) participate in the project, collaborating to promote sustainable practices and environmental protection.
