“Use all to lose less”, “Engage, Connect, Empower” – these are the slogans of the GreenACT project. 6 countries participate in the project: Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Slovenia. This project aims to educate and educate 16-25-year-old youth, increase their awareness, interest in environmental protection and sustainability topics, form a caring attitude towards the environment, organize various events and campaigns, provide additional competencies to youth workers in educating the younger generation on relevant environmental topics.
Responding to the goals of the project, 3 dissemination events were organized in Marijampole in April – May for youth workers, educators and other interested persons working with youth. The project and currently achieved results, performed activities and further plans were presented. The GreenACT concept was introduced, which is aimed at promoting environmental awareness and responsible behavior. Also the GreenACT educational package for environmental awareness and promoting eco-citizenship and the GreenACT toolkit: summer school preparation.
