Long live the village project in Romania

Following the Youth Exchange event, “Long Live the Village,” which took place from September 1st to September 11th, 2023, and was generously funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program, we brought together a diverse group of 40 young participants from four countries: Romania, Poland, Lithuania, and Bulgaria. The primary goal of this exchange was to introduce European youth to the unique possibilities of rural living while instilling a deep respect for the environment.

Through collaborative efforts with these enthusiastic participants, we recognized the urgent need for a practical tool that can serve as a model for any institution interested in implementing our recommendations. This resolution stands as a testament to our commitment to catalyzing positive change in rural communities.

In acknowledgment of the critical imperative to address environmental challenges and empower rural populations, we proudly present this resolution. Its primary focus is on nurturing environmental stewardship and creating opportunities for the youth in rural areas. This resolution underscores the significance of sustainable development, community involvement, and the empowerment of young individuals as fundamental elements of a thriving and resilient future.
