VIeW project meeting in Cyprus

The VIeW Project meeting, held on December 13th and 14th in Limassol, Cyprus, was a success! We brought together some awesome partner organizations: NGO “Parallel Silistra” from Bulgaria, Association TAVO Europa from Lithuania, Amanay from the Canary Islands, Spain, and Dorea from Cyprus. The mission of the project is to empower women for positive social change.

Day 1 started with a warm welcome, creating a vibe of teamwork. We shared knowledge and presentations on green skills and human-rights-based responses to war. The standout moments were the ‘Free the Lane Campaign’ in Kyiv and a Living Library on human rights! We also had a valuable disucssion about digital skills, cultural diversity, and active citizenship – the values Europe stands for.

Day 2 was all about the future. Partners planned a 5-day training in Lithuania and figured out online sessions. The results? Stronger international bonds, knowledge-sharing, tool creation, and gearing up to empower 16 young females across borders. Plus, we’re getting ready to involve 240 diverse youths in national events.

As the meeting wrapped up, everyone left with a sense of accomplishment. We’ve set the stage for some serious change in the VIeW project – a shining example of teamwork making the future brighter.
