A group of youth workers is recognizing the impact of COVID-19 on both themselves and the young individuals they serve. They aim to host a gathering to foster the exchange of best practices and enhance their capacity to support the mental well-being of young people. Their goals include promoting the sharing of mental health care tools, creating a repository of these methodologies for youth workers, building a community for peer mentoring, and raising awareness among participants about the pandemic’s effects on youth mental health. This initiative seeks to empower and educate those involved in youth work during these challenging times.
