Let's Draw
Project in Slovenia
10-17 November

Location: Brežice, Slovenia

Graphic facilitation is a visual thinking and communication technique that involves using images, drawings, and other visual elements to help individuals and groups understand, communicate, and solve problems more effectively. A graphic facilitator, also known as a visual facilitator or graphic recorder, typically works in real-time during meetings, workshops, or brainstorming sessions to visually capture ideas, concepts, and discussions. Graphic facilitation is a powerful tool for fostering creativity, engagement, and alignment within groups and organizations by leveraging the visual language to support communication and collaboration.

The aim of this project is to learn the basics of graphic facilitation, distinguishing between art and skill, while exploring typography, the use of colors, shading techniques, and various shapes and formats of flip charts, paper, and presentations. We seek to enrich our visual vocabulary by collecting ideas for simple illustrated icons on different topics. Additionally, we will introduce a mindset inspired by the concept of “steal like an artist,” which encourages creativity through the inspiration of others’ ideas. The project will provide a space for sharing ideas, fostering creativity, and embracing mistakes. We will also learn how to simplify complex information, making it easier for participants to understand and engage with the presented content. This will be an opportunity to develop analog drawing skills and help you explore your unique style of graphic recording.

Age of participants: 18+

Dates: November 10-17

Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed after the project
