Location: Medzev, Slovakia

Our project addresses two important needs that are visible amongst youth workers actively involved in local solidarity work. The first of these needs is their lack of knowledge of practical but innovative methods that can be used for the benefit of their target groups. The second need is the observed reluctance to use methods based on digital means of communication that stems from either a lack of knowledge or appreciation of the potential of these kinds of tools for youth work.

This project seeks to address both of the issues mentioned by giving youth workers a chance to go through intensive training on a method that is practical and can be implemented while working with different kinds of groups and that at the same time is very much based on the assumption that digital competences are crucial for organizing high-quality innovative youth projects.

Age of participants: 18+, we are looking for a team of 6 people

Dates: September 20 – 30, 2024 

Traveling method: participants will be traveling with our provided van, the trip begins on 19 September and ends on 1 October from and in Lithuania. Everything will be explained to selected candidates and more information is provided in the infopack. 

Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed after the project
