Joseph

Hi, I am Joseph Di Vincenti and I am currently working in Vilnius for Tavo Europa as part of my Italian Civil Service in the Next Skills project of the association Come Pensiamo. As a Project and Communication Manager for Tavo Europa, I am in charge of planning, coordinating and promoting online European exchange projects that through non-formal education aim to convey to young people the soft skills required for today’s competitive labour market.
After a bachelor’s degree in Political and Social Sciences, I graduated with honours in Communication, ICT, and Media at the University of Turin. Currently, I am delving into Big Data Analysis and Machine Learning at La Sapienza University of Rome with a second level post master course. I already had the opportunity to experience an exchange abroad through the Erasmus+ project during my studies, and I am happy to be able to work again in a multicultural environment within a context that is new to me.
So far, my work experience has been fulfilling and diverse. I first started in digital marketing and social media management, creating online content for small businesses, managing their websites, and promoting their content with online advertising. Afterward, I worked for an ICT retailer in the corporate back office. As a blogger, I also wrote articles about cybersecurity to spread knowledge about internet dangers and protecting personal information. Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of becoming a high school Computer Science teacher, an opportunity that has allowed me to not only bring out and spread my passion for learning but also to work closely with young people and promote a conscious use of digital technologies among my students.
I am happy to have joined the Civil Service with Tavo Europa. I see this as a fantastic opportunity to travel and interact with many cultures, all while putting my skills to good use on initiatives that have an impact on society and culture. I have no doubt that this year will let me advance both personally and professionally, take on new challenges, and broaden my global network of contacts.
