Active participation in sports of young people not only improves their health and reduces costs to health services, but if properly addressed and arranged can have great social impacts such as reduction of crime, violence, and addiction, as well as encourage more active engagement in the society of the young people, including the marginalized ones. The main aim of the project “It’s Everyone’s Game” was to equip the youth workers with competencies to use sport as a tool for increasing the social inclusion and active participation of young people, with a special focus on those with fewer opportunities.
