In this article, we’re excited to share some important updates from our recent international experience! In early July, our dedicated team from Lithuania travelled to the Czech Republic. There, we had the opportunity to participate in a highly regarded training course. The name of this workshop was “I Move, I Learn”. In essence, this event focused on the intersection of physical activity and non-formal education. Furthermore, our team was offered an invaluable opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in these critical areas.

Integrating Physical Activity into Non-Formal Education

Over the course of a week, our team engaged in a series of interactive workshops and training sessions. Above all, all aimed at deepening their understanding of how physical activity can be effectively integrated into youth work and education. Moreover, they learned about the significant impact that active learning methods can have on personal development. Furthermore, we also learnt how to create inclusive environments through sports.

Networking Opportunities for Physical Activity Professionals and Non-Formal Educators

Among other things, the “I Move, I Learn” training also served as a powerful networking opportunity. There, our team connected with like-minded professionals and experts from across Europe. Therefore, these relationships could lead to future collaborations in the field of youth work and sports. In other words, these connections are essential for broadening our impact and staying at the forefront of non-formal education practices.
