I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the enchanting project known as “Green Society with Active and Educated Youth” held in the picturesque city of Struga, located in North Macedonia. Throughout this project, we embarked on various activities aimed at understanding its purpose, honing our teamwork skills, and comprehending the significance of collaboration. The Macedonian participants warmly welcomed us and actively engaged in every aspect of the project.
One of the highlights of our time in Struga was the creation of captivating posters and captivating video reels, which allowed us to express our creativity while conveying important messages about environmental awareness. Additionally, we embarked on a thrilling treasure hunt throughout the city, providing us with an opportunity to navigate the streets of Struga with precision and familiarity. Moreover, we had a unique fashion show where we showcased innovative designs crafted from recycled materials, promoting sustainability and showcasing our artistic talents.
The organizers of the project ensured that we had a well-rounded experience by incorporating both indoor and outdoor activities. During our free time, we had the pleasure of visiting the nearby city of Ohrid. Here, we were treated to a brief presentation on Macedonian cuisine and culture, enriching our understanding of the local traditions and way of life. The overall balance between project-related activities and cultural exploration made this trip truly unforgettable.
The directions provided to reach our hotel were clear and concise, allowing us to navigate the city effortlessly. Even the residents were exceptionally friendly, always ready to assist us and share their insights about the city. The warmth and hospitality we experienced from the Macedonians further added to the charm of our trip.
Given the chance, I would unquestionably seize the opportunity to participate in this project again. The knowledge gained, friendships formed, and memories created during my time in Struga have left an unforgettable mark on my life.
