Jovita shares her experience after returning from an exchange in Romania:
Last week we returned from the Erasmus + youth exchange project “Sustain – able” in Predeal, Romania. The aim of the project is to help young people develop the competencies needed to understand and practice a sustainable lifestyle.
We lived in a hotel surrounded by mountains. We were even warned about the possibility of encountering wild bears! It’s a pity, or maybe lucky, that we only saw their tracks! Teams from six countries participated in the project: Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Croatia and Romania. Working in mixed groups with representatives from different countries, we created brochures, videos, flyers, posters, flashmobs, prepared presentations reflecting a sustainable lifestyle and ecology.
The nine days of the project did not last long – we left not only having acquired new knowledge and skills, but also having made new friends.
