Youth Finance Academy is a project about financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Within the framework of this project, methodological tools were created for youth workers, pedagogues and other specialists who work with young people and develop the entrepreneurial and financial literacy skills of young people. In Marijampolė, on January 26, the event “Future of Financial Education” took place, in which 15 interested persons – youth workers, educators, other specialists, who discussed the world of finance – participated. The results of the project and methodological material were presented to them. Currently, this is a particularly relevant topic, because due to the constant threat of financial crisis, financial literacy becomes one of the priority areas of youth education. The Youth Finance Academy project is focused on helping young people and young entrepreneurs develop financial literacy – knowledge about money, skills and habits. For today’s youth to become empowered economic citizens who understand the importance of saving, have the skills needed to gain employment and create their own livelihoods.
